When Tecovas found this older home on the East side of Austin they immediately saw its potential to showcase their product and host many happy hours. With the bungalow divided into two rooms, each had its own purpose. First impressions are lasting so the first room displayed all the beautiful handmade boots and the room adjacent was a place to sit and enjoy your favorite whiskey or beer. The space felt distinctly Texas, for a great local brand.
Walking the line
Back when Tecovas was just getting started, we were contacted to help them establish a look and feel for their showroom. Our challenge was achieving the comfortable aesthetic they were looking for without sourcing furniture out of their price range as a startup. That’s why we purchased from vendors like Urban Outfitters, Cb2 and West Elm, and sourced affordable kilim rugs and textiles to add color to the ensemble.
