Ooni Pizza Ovens tapped Canales & Co. to help build their Make Pizza campaign. The primary ask was a custom type lockup, as well as a versatile system for advertisements across all sizes and mediums. Upon completion of the campaign, the scope of the partnership expanded to a collection of apparel to support the campaign.
Love at first slice
The Make Pizza campaign promoted the idea that anybody can make great pizza at home, and emphasized community among family and friends. The hero lockup has a handcrafted feel to match the quality customers can reach with Ooni, instilled with a ton of energy in the bouncy letterforms.
The campaign ranged from all scales of print to digital, whether it be for magazine or catalog advertisements, larger billboards, or for social media. The modular nature of the system made the campaign extremely versatile, with very little difference in appearance and experience in different mediums.
